Wenatchee Valley

The Wenatchee Valley is well known for being family friendly and an outdoor enthusiast's dream destination.  From the Cascades to the Columbia River, Wenatchee boasts year round activities.  Mission Ridge is a 20 minute drive for Skiing and Snowboarding during the winter months.  Lake Chelan is a 40 minute drive, with plenty water activities during the summer months.  Floating down the Wenatchee River from Leavenworth to Wenatchee at your leisure in early summer time is something you just don't want to miss.

Our valley is rapidly growing.  We have fantastic school districts, no matter what side of the river you raise your children on.  Eastmont School district is continually adding and rearranging their grade school ages to accommodate the growing population.  Wenatchee school district is currently building two new grade schools to replace older buildings, and also looking into future opportunities to possibly add a new high school.  The city of Cashmere, only a 10 minute drive from Wenatchee, offers the small, hometown feel with a large focus on sports in the school district. 

Downtown Wenatchee is continually changing, while staying focused on the small business owner.  Pybus Market has recently opened, offering a local farmer's market in the spring to fall months.  All year round, you can find numerous functions inside the building, and quite a few restaurant/ brewery choices.  The riverfront trail gives bikers, joggers, and even dog walkers to opportunity to take in the Columbia river from both the Wenatchee and East Wenatchee side, connecting several parks, giving you plenty of space for whatever your outdoor activity may be!
